Recipe changes alter pellet quality and press energy

What happens. Recipes change with raw-material prices and orders, sometimes several times a day. Each mix takes up steam differently in the conditioner and behaves differently in the die. The press operator adjusts steam and feed rate by experience until the pellets look right.

What it costs. Fines that customers complain about or that go back for re-pelleting, press power wasted on mixes run too dry, die and roller wear, and blockages that stop the line.

Why the usual fix fails. Fixed settings per recipe help, but the same recipe behaves differently with a new grain lot. Running with more steam and lower throughput to be safe costs capacity. Adding binders covers the problem at a price.

How a fixed-price remote diagnosis checks it. From your press and conditioner logs (steam flow, conditioning temperature, motor current, feed rate, die data) with recipes and durability results I check how much of the variation can be explained by recipe and raw material. The fixed-price remote diagnosis shows whether conditioning and press control that adapts to each mix could give steadier pellets with less energy.
